1 LOGIC Executive Leadership Academy (ELA)

LOGIC EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY is designed based on a modular approach, with each module covering a different perspective of leadership to develop managers and senior managers’ leadership and management capabilities. It also aims to motivate participants and provide them with world class programs to boost their loyalty and maximize their retention. In addition, the academy prepares participants for the succession Prepare participants for the succession of the leadership positions in the organization.

All modules are stemming out of the “LOGIC 6 STEPS LEADERSHIP APPROACH”. The academy duration is 10 months and the modules will take place on a monthly basis for 7 consecutive months, with the exception of July, August & Ramadan.

Module 1. Lead Yourself
This Module will focus on the “Lead Yourself” pillar as a start of covering LOGIC 6 Steps Leadership Approach. In this module, participants will be exposed to the leadership fundamentals through classroom training, electronic voting and case studies, within the same module, participants will be exposed to leadership games focusing on building both leadership and team-building skills.
Developing the personal leadership of each executive paves the way for them to lead others, teams, managers, and markets.
Module 2. Lead Your Manager
Leading the relation with your manager is a key to productive and successful work relations leading to sustainable business achievements. In this interesting module, participants will be exposed to the concept of managing their leaders and aligning their expectations to reach mutual success for both, as well as the organization. While doing so, LOGIC will organize a leadership seminar, inviting 3 Chairmen and CEO’s from prominent Egyptian corporations together with ELA participants, and will facilitate the conference to hear from the invited leaders their views regarding what they require and expect from managers directly reporting to them. Also, each group will convey to the other their expectations and points of view.
Module 3. Change Management
To complete module 2, a comprehensive Change Management module will be covered in a separate module

Module 4. People Management & Constructive Feedback
For the participants of the EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY to excel in leading their subordinates and teams, they need to master the required skills of people management and constructive feedback.
Electronic voting is widely used in this module to stimulate group discussions & different videos will be shared in this module sharing with participants different experiences and cross-cultural learnings.
Each video will be followed by discussions to conclude learning.

Module 5. Lead Your Market
Strategic Thinking as inspired by global leaders (Jack Welch & Steve Jobs)
In this module LOGIC will blend the international leadership learnings with local insights and success stories, in a way that will provide participants with the best of both worlds, capturing great leadership learnings and skills from international gurus as well as living a local success story inspired by a great leader.

2 General Management Program (GMP)

This program is an exploration for business leaders and executives, to help elevate their capabilities. GMP Program modules are as follows:-

Module 1: Business Model Generation
Business modelling is foundational in understanding how any business is structured and prepared to win in the market. This module is based on the famous book “Business Model Generation”. This module includes a very powerful workshop with a full simulation on how to practice business modelling, covering 9 pillars.
Module 2: Strategy Types
Strategy is the brain of the business. Mastering strategy implementation is a crucial success factor for every manager. Managers need to be aware of the different strategy types and which are suitable for different business conditions. In this module participants will learn the following:

- Introduction to Strategy
- Strategic Foundation
- Strategy Types
- Strategy Implementation
This module includes case studies on local and international companies, discussing the strategy type used by each. The choice of companies being studied includes a variety of industries as well as choosing local and international cases. The objective of these case studies is to open healthy discussions amongst participants and accordingly confirm their understanding of this module. Also, electronic voting in different cases will be used as a stimulus for discussions. After the voting process, the faculty will discuss the results with participants.
Module 3: Budgeting & Key Financial Reports
Budgeting is a tool connecting the board with the CEO and his executive team. The whole management team should participate in developing and managing the budget. Participants will learn how to develop a solid budget and avoid the pitfalls associated with this important planning process. For each organization, and in each industry, it is inevitable for the management team and business leaders to be able to read and understand the key financial reports (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement). This module will cover the above in an experiential learning methodology that includes workshops and exercises, to enhance learning and knowledge retention. This module includes:

This module includes an interactive workshop to build the competency framework of a given business using the famous Saville Consulting competency modeling kit.
Module 5: Strategic Marketing
Despite radical changes in how businesses are being managed in recent years, strategic marketing remains a key pillar in the business foundation of any organization, being the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of ideas, goods, and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational goals
Module 6: Jack Welch Leadership
Jack Welch has been recognized as the greatest CEO of all times, leading GE to become the largest company in the world at his time. He indeed has a unique leadership style full of controversial approaches. GMP will share with participants Welch’s 12 leadership lessons and how they contributed to the largest corporate makeover in history. A variety of videos (with subtitles) will be presented, sharing many learning as described by Jack Welch himself.
LOGIC will host a senior executive as a guest speaker in this module sharing with participants different leadership experiences across different countries, industries, and environments.
Module 7: Supply Chain
In current pressuring times on many companies and corporations, SCM is becoming more and more a key contributor to maximizing the business operation efficiency and delivering cost-saving projects, positively contributing to the bottom line of the business.
It provides a strong tie between the sales department and the manufacturing, ensuring efficiency maximization as well as working capital optimization.
Module 8: Talent Management
Talent management is a vital pillar in the success of any business. It is a topic with lots of noise, yet minimal implementation in Egyptian corporates. In this module, participants will be exposed to global challenges in talent management, as well as, learn the talent management process.
Talent Management is ‘the systematic attraction, identification, development, retention, and deployment of those individuals with high potential who are of particular value to the organization’. CIPD definition of Talent Management
The Talent Management module includes a highly interactive talent management simulation, which will take the participants through the full process and will allow them to live the experience of building and managing a full talent management process.
Module 9: Succession Planning
Matching the CEO to the corporate strategy is the very foundation of succession planning. The CEO, as well as the talent pool of potential replacements, must be a solid match with the company’s current and future business challenges!
This module includes an interactive workshop on “defining the successor’s profile” using international assessment tools.

3 Competitive Strategy Program CSP

CSP will assist participants in comprehending the different aspects of strategy, including strategy types, formation, and cascading and it is a unique chance for a mindset transforming experience.

Module 1: Strategy Cascading
The Strategy Cascading module is designed to structurally establish a framework for cascading the strategy and put it into a measurable plan and translate it into key identified initiatives and KPIs. It will take participants through 2 different cascading tools; the BSC (Balanced Scorecard) being a widely used cascading tool in the world as well as the OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures) frame which was invented – and still used – by Procter & Gamble.
An interactive workshop will enable participants to design a cascading frame themselves using both the OGSM and the BSC approaches.

Module 5: Mergers & Acquisitions
The Mergers & Acquisitions module will cover one of the important strategies needed to be well comprehended via leaders and executives.
Mergers & Acquisitions will cover the distinction between “Mergers and Acquisitions”, types of “M&As”, motives for “M&As” decisions, why do “M&As” fail? How to avoid failures? and leaders who make M&As work. A video will be shared with participants showing the top 10 disastrous M&As, to extrapolate learnings out of them. Risks are usually overlooked by many organizations. Identifying and mitigating risks can save an organization many potential losses. Participants will be provided with strong tools for identification and mitigation.
