A Successful Market Entry in the Electronics Retail Industry

Case Background

A prominent Saudi electronics retailer identified Egypt as a potential growth market but required expert assistance in managing the complexities of a new market entry. The client approached our team to establish a Project Management Office (PMO) to navigate the launch phase. LOGIC Consulting acted by developing a detailed launch plan and setting up a center of excellence for project management.

Outcome

Launch activities across 20 departments within Egypt and KSA were identified & consolidated in a launch master plan. A weekly leadership meeting navigated through progress dashboards covering 900 parallel activities was presented to ensure all streams were on track. A task force was created to troubleshoot & mitigate risks. When the decision to exit was taken, the PMO team played an instrumental role in managing the transition regarding people, products, and financials.

  • Created a detailed launch plan with comprehensive actions for each department, leading to a Master CPS design. 
  • Integrated the CPS within workflows to ensure accurate tracking & reminders. 
  • Our team led the implementation of the launch phase for over a year, monitoring progress meticulously.
  • Provided robust support during the exit management process, confirming a smooth transition.
