Case Background

A leading cement manufacturing company with one of the largest cement plants in the MENA region was struggling with operational inefficiencies and cross-departmental disconnects, in addition to the need to enhance customer centricity and improve the speed of services provided to internal and external customers. Thus, they were searching for an innovative solution that could identify the root causes of the challenge and develop effective strategies to overcome them.

Outcome

Adopting our proposed methodologies significantly improved the company's operational efficiency and cross-departmental communication. The Action Log, with 94 meticulously scrutinized initiatives, provided a clear roadmap for improvements. Regular bi-weekly meetings ensured consistent progress monitoring and quick resolution of execution challenges. LOGIC Consulting's approach improved operational efficiency and considerably strengthened cross-departmental communication.

Our Approach

Utilized the "Improvement Log," a non-traditional technique to enhance culture and cross-functional communication.
Conducted a comprehensive Culture Survey covering 9 Pillars focusing on Structure & Process, Culture, Leadership, and people, which resulted in 3 critical Human Capital Initiatives.
Implemented a Dependency/Satisfaction Questionnaire, scoring departments based on their inter-dependency and mutual satisfaction with one another's services.
Plotted results on 4 Quadrants to identify and resolve turbulent cross-departmental relationships, resulting in 94 Action Points closely monitored by the leadership team.
